WCPM’s boutique scoring label, SCOREMONGERS, takes an early look at Halloween with a series of cinematically eerie albums making elegant use of vocal textures, mangled cello and upright bass. Rounding out the horror-themed releases is "Obake," which brings a Japanese twist to the genre. For a glimmer of hope, check out “Lost Cause” — a delicate coming-of-age indie score featuring a modern blend of the organic and electronic.
